On May 30, 2026, hundred's gathered at Grant Park in Chicago for the 55th Annual Walk & Roll Chicago, one of the city's longest-running cancer fundraising events benefiting the American Cancer Society.


Whether they were participating in the 5K Walk, 5K Timed Run, 10K Skate, or 15K Bike Ride, attendees came together with a shared goal of supporting those affected by cancer and helping advance the American Cancer Society's mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.


The day brought together survivors, caregivers, families, friends, volunteers, community organizations, sponsors, and supporters from across the Chicago area. Beyond the routes, attendees explored the Community Resource Village, visited the Survivor Tent, honored loved ones in the Garden of Hope, and cheered on children participating in the Kids Dash.


By the end of the event, more than $300,000 had been raised—and counting—to support the American Cancer Society's work in cancer research, advocacy, patient support, and education.


As photographers, we spent the morning documenting the people, moments, and connections that made the day what it was. From team photos and survivor celebrations to moments of reflection, remembrance, and joy, Walk & Roll Chicago served as a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for a common cause.
